Moles come in all shapes and sizes. Although some are ‘beauty marks’, others are less attractive. Skin tags are small, little pieces of skin, that grow larger with time – often located in the arm pits, chest, and base of the neck. At Concept Medical in Ottawa we offer mole removal as well as removal of other skin concerns such as skin tags, skin cancer, cysts, and other skin lesions. Most moles are normal and harmless, however some are worrisome. Any new or changing mole should be examined by a physician to ensure it is not skin cancer. Skin tags are almost always a cosmetic concern, and do not typically required an examination or screening. Please contact our office for more information about mole and skin tag removal.
