Is CoolSculpting permanent?
Yes, CoolSculpting will permanently remove fat cells that are treated during each treatment. Treatments are broken down into cycles, each time a cycle is performed an average of 20-25% of fat is reduced. The amount of fat that is treated depends on the adapter that we use and how much subcutaneous fat the patient has.
Does it hurt?
No, the treatment feels cool and mildly uncomfortable for the first few minutes but will often go numb, similar to when your hands get cold in the winter months.

How long are the treatments?
The length of time for each treatment will depend on how many cycles are required. Pre-treatment photos are taken and a post-treatment massage of the treated area is given following treatment. This massage helps reduce the fat by 60%, studies show it helps break up the frozen fat cells to allow the body to absorb these faster.
How will I feel after my treatment?
It is normal for people to experience minor swelling and numbness anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks post treatment.
