We primarily treat facial veins at our clinic. Please note, leg veins are best treated at a vein clinic as often larger deeper veins contribute to these smaller veins.

Laser vein treatments always begin with a detailed assessment by one of our qualified team members to determine if your veins are suitable for laser therapy. During the session, a physician will carefully move a laser over the problematic veins. The laser emits a strong colourless beam that causes the vein to instantly shrink and close off. Laser vein treatments are very tolerable and do not require any freezing or numbing. Most veins will disappear during the laser treatment. However, some veins may take time to fully resolve. Laser vein procedures often take minutes to complete, and you may resume your normal daily activities immediately afterwards without any downtime. As with all treatments, risks are possible, and results vary.
Visible veins on the face often disappear immediately at the time of treatment. Occasionally, some veins require a few days to completely disappear. Some veins require a second treatment approximately one month later and a small number of veins may be resistant to treatment. Some patients observe temporary redness similar to very mild sunburn in the treated area, which usually resolves within a few days.
Laser vein treatment is generally well tolerated, and pain is minimal. You may experience a slight tingling or warm sensation during your session.
Most facial veins will resolve after one treatment. However, a detailed initial consultation will determine the type, size, and number of problem veins as well as realistic outcomes. Please note, we do not treat leg veins.
